My Top Tips for Mature Skin!
I don't know why but I really love working on mature skin! I love it...I don't know if it's because I'm 33 years old and my skin is beginning to mature but I love it when I get a client and they're worried; but they walk out feeling so much confident and happy with the look I've done for them.
It's really important to prep the skin when doing a mature client; I use Simple Moisturiser, MAC Prep & Prime Spritz after the eyes are done I use MAC Strobe to prime.
For me I feel personally that a very matte look on a client with mature skin doesn't work; it makes them look hard and a full coverage foundation will sit in the lines, crack and crease.
Starting with the brows I used MAC Spike Pencil; I love this Brow pencil because it blends really well. I didn't need to do a lot of Brow work on this client as she recently had them Microbladed by me so they just needed a lot "umph".
I then used MAC Select Cover Up on the kids but rather than use a lot of product I literally used a tiny bit to buff in; it's really dry and so a tiny bit will just get the right base.
For the spotlight eye I used the Morphe 35F and the 35W Pallet; neutrals always work well on mature skin and I love to add a pop of gold.
I used a blue Kiko Milano Pencil on the waterline as the client was wearing electric blue and I feel this made her light blue eyes pop.
For skin I used MAC Strobe all over her face and then MAC Face & Body; I love Face & Body, you have to work it in and buff it on but once it sets on top of the strobe; it gives such a glowy look.
For concealer under the eyes I used a tiny bit of maybelliene Fit Me concealer as it's really hydrating and literally a tiny bit, worked it in with a fluffy brush; the less product under the eye the better the finished look. I then used a tiny amount of MAC translucent powder to set it and I mean a whisper of it.
I then bronzed and contoured her face and nose with MAC Skin Finish in Prep & Prime; a little Blusher from Younique in Sweet and for highlighter I used MAC Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle - I adore this highlighter it's brilliant to get a lovely glow on a mature client.
For lips I used MAC lip liner in Subculture then topped with Creme Cup Lipstick, again by MAC and I just dabbed my finger onto the Soft & Gentle Highlighter and then on her lips.
Voila
